Welcome
John Fleming founded Becoming You
out of a desire to share his own experience of becoming himself.
From a young age John has been driven by a desire to figure out
who he is, why he’s here and how he can belong
while being himself.
Becoming You Mission
To create experiences and opportunities to welcome all of who you are, supporting each of us to experience a deeper connection to self and grounded in our own identity.

Becoming You Vision
Imagine a world where it is ok for each of us to express and be who we truly are - where acceptance of difference and diversity is the norm. A world where everyone is included and celebrated.
Becoming You
Values
Personal Integrity
Personal integrity is about holding boundaries, making choices and decisions to support ourselves and our needs. We support you to move towards a greater understanding of how you are feeling and defining and co-creating your personal integrity map.
Personal Responsibility
Personal responsibility is about taking responsibility with personal integrity. We invite you to take responsibility and ownership of your thoughts, feelings, actions, reactions and responses towards yourself and others.
Authenticity
Authenticity is about showing up in the world as you to the best of your ability., It is your personal integrity in action. To become more authentic in our lives , we need to uncover and embrace ourselves. We invite you to become more authentic and clear in your communication, expressing your feelings, your truth and your needs as honestly and openly as you can and with respect for others.
Equal Dignity
Equal dignity is about understanding, honoring and respecting everyone's perspectives and their entitlement to have a perspective shaped by their experience in this world. We encourage you to see, hear, respect and be curious about others, while not needing to change them.
John's becoming journey
I grew up on a farm in rural West Cork, Ireland. The youngest of 6 children. I was the last (surprise) with a separation of 10 years between me and the youngest of my older siblings. This was significant as I was generationally different from them and I was a young, neurodiverse, queer boy in a traditional family and society. At that time, Irish society was only beginning its stumble out of the grips of the Catholic Church.

West Cork is a breathtakingly beautiful part of the world, on the edge of the wild Atlantic Ocean and it was because of its beauty and cheapness at the time, (Ireland was still quite a poor country in the 1970’ and 80’s), it attracted an incredibly diverse melting pot of people bringing with them alternative ways and beliefs. They were fondly and not always fondly known as ‘the blow-ins’. (Blown in by the winds of life).
Growing up in the 1990s meant that I was exposed to this diverse community which has been pivotal in shaping and moulding who I am today. My view of the world and the core values I now hold have been influenced strongly by this community, leading me to go out into the world with an open mind.
Growing Up
From a young age my difference was evident to me. I encountered bias, bullying many normative societal expectations at home and in school. Many invitations to suppress my true identity.
Luckily from any early age a sense of self was building inside me. I have a vivid memory of looking at myself in the mirror around 8 years old and seeing myself for the first time – every other time I had just seen my reflection. It was probably my first ‘aha’ moment – a surreal and almost out of body experience, I stared at myself for quite a long time soaking in the beginning of my connection to my true self. This sparked my curiosity and has informed me questioning; ‘Who am I’? And ‘Why am I here’?, at varying points throughout my life.
I also held the dual experience of being ‘seen’ for who I really was by enough of my family, teachers and community members to sustain and nurture my natural self. A key standout moment for me in this regard is when I came out as gay and my Mum said “well that’s ok because you’ll always be John!”, this really positively reinforced my sense of self.
Early Adulthood
After school I opted for working rather than study. I was a hard worker, loving systems, organisation and really good with people. Even as young as 17 I ended up in managerial positions quite quickly. At 18 I moved to the UK for work and at just 19 I was trained by my workplace to be a coach within the organisation.
From 25 onwards I studied psychology part-time for ten years and gobbled up other learning in the form of personal development workshops, retreats, body practices and other modalities. More and more, I learnt how to lean into myself and trust myself and get to know and love myself.
The latest chapter
All this working experience and learning has brought me far and wide physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. I am a classic seeker who has never been content with top layer information and as a result I have trained in a comprehensive blend of personal development & therapeutic modalities.
Becoming you is a culmination of all of who I am and what I have done in my life so far – it is an expression of me. My mission is to support those of you who land on my doorstep in your own uncovering. To embrace who you are becoming: Your emergent and magnificent self. To facilitate you to be you.
Namaste,
John

I am inspired by the natural world, deep thinking, broad thinking and by learning & growing through the continual changes that are always around in life, seasonal shifts, advances in perspectives, evolution and research.
I am interested in working with the whole person. I hold awareness of ecological, systemic and intersectional factors in my work, looking at the individual and group as a part of a system and eco system.
I am committed to my professional world aligning with my personal values as much as possible and find peace in being me regardless of the role that I might be in.

I am conscious of energy. My journey in this world and lifetime makes me uniquely me. Formed by a concoction of adoption, marriage, physical and emotional abuse, divorce, single parenthood and entrepreneurship. Combined with all the rest of my programming and life experiences.
I am inspired by the behavioral dance between nature and nurture of human beings.
Life in itself and the life within each individual and how that liveliness or lack of influencing the collective.
I support others through my full presence in coaching trajectories, through my nurturing consciousness with systemic work and through my safe energy with somatic guidance.

I was raised in a bohemian and free-spirited environment, I grew up with a natural sense of self and a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection. These roots have shaped my lighthearted, creative approach as a holistic therapist, where I blend massage therapy and kundalini reiki to support clients to find balance, peace, and renewal.
I intuitively tune into each client’s energy, allowing myself to provide exactly what they need in the moment—whether it’s physical relaxation, emotional release, or energetic alignment. My work is guided by a belief in the body’s innate ability to heal and the power of being fully present.
Grounded in the wisdom of my upbringing, I bring a warm and nurturing energy to every session, creating a safe space for growth and transformation.

Erika Crawte
Social Media Manager
Wicklow, Ireland
I am a creative human who turned my love for making videos and sharing stories into a full-blown business. These days, I get to help other creatives, business owners, and personal brands figure out this whole social media thing – without the overwhelm.
I lead with empathy because I feel deeply. That used to feel like a flaw, and now I see it as my superpower. I care deeply about my clients, their wins, their growth, and their confidence. That care is at the heart of everything I do.
I am inspired by watching people I work with go from “I could never do that” to “I just made this!” Seeing people’s personalities shine through their videos — messy, real, and unfiltered.
